I just found this website listing the ten best lobster joints in Maine. It must’ve been awfully tricky to narrow such a list down to only ten in the homestate of those giant red lobsters that make my heart go pitter-patter, but I must say I was awfully sad to see that Tidal Falls in Sullivan, ME was missing.We’d buy our lobster and eat from picnic tables that overlooked this rushing river as the sun went down. My Google search wasn’t too lucrative, but at least you can see the benches and water here.

I moved to Maine last year and have made it a goal to find the best clams and lobsters in the state. I’ve only been to three of the “shacks” on the list so I see that I’ve got some driving to do this summer.
