I too had surmised that it was a fatty residue from the cream, but I had never had that experience with HD before. Maybe it got melted and re-frozen, causing an off texture. I searched Chowhound to see if anyone had posted about it, and though there are several HD Five discussions, there’s no mention of filmy residue. So I’ll give it another shot!
