This is actually Food Porn Thursday for me but, well, I’m writing it now and delaying it so it doesn’t publish until tomorrow. I can’t stop thinking about my trip to Paris tomorrow, and while I hope to have at least one meal at a seriously nice restaurant in Paris, I’m lucky enough that my meager budget will easily accommodate what I’m most excited about: simple boards of cheese and grapes. Just nibbles, you know… not entirely original, but I am making a pilgrimage to the bastion of so many great cheeses. This photo was taken by La Tartine Gourmande, a food blog that appeals to me and resonates with me in every way. That pear-shaped one in the front is a clochette – “little bell” – of goat cheese. My heart just exploded.
