The Type A in me has always preferred to peel and slice my kiwi before eating.
Just recently, I plucked the juiciest kiwi from our fridge, sliced it in half, and brandished a spoon, scooping out bite by bite.
It felt like I was eating ice cream. I will never turn back.

I swear, it feels like you’re eating sorbet. Plus, that fabulous grittiness from the seeds is so much more pointed when you eat it with a spoon – I realize now that it kind of gets lost in thin slices.
Plus, of course, it feels slightly uncivilized and tantalizingly self-sufficient. Can’t forget that!
