Hard to believe that it’s been a whole year since I started this site. What does this mean? Well…
1. I’ve stuck to the same career path for a full year. 13 months ago, for instance, I wante to be an anthropological diplomat. A little bit before that, I wanted to be a philosophy professor. It’s been a year since I decided I wanted to write about food. That hasn’t changed and it doesn’t show signs of changing any time soon.
2. After a childhood and adolescence of probably hundreds of failed attempts to start and regularly write in a journal, at long last, I’ve committed.
3. A lot has happened. Gustav came and went. I stalked restaurants. The sommelier at Alinea wrote to me. I continued to stalk restaurants. I got a camera. I drowned in college applications. I was a food columnist. I got into college. I traveled. And, oh, I ate… a LOT.
I’ve started the neverending process of learning as I go about how to write about food. I still have a lot to learn, but today, I’m a year closer.
PFB, this has been a good year and a fun journey. Looking forward to many more…

Oh the journey is JUST starting now Rémysauce.
And it’ll be SO much more fun than we both can imagine =)
Here’s to another gastronomical orgasm filled year!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY PFB ^^
Happy b-day PFB!
Happy anniversary!
It seems that I always check PFB when I’m starving. Or maybe that’s just the effect it has on me… Either way, you have a superb talent here Rémy and I can’t wait to see how much this blog (and your passion for everything delicious) grows!!
P.S.- Yes, I am both an inspirational speaker and your mother.
Happy Blog Anniversary!
It looks like you have accomplished A LOT in a year!!
Happy blog birthday. I wish you success at Brown and you certainly have the skill, knowledge, and passion to be a food writer.
