My name is Rémy, and I'm a rare combination of two things: a teenager who adores writing about great food almost as much as she adores eating it. My philosophy is this: truly, food should never be easily forgotten. What it all comes down to is that I'm a bit of an epicurean; I delight in food as an art form, not as a necessity, and take joy in it even at its simplest (because the way I see it, Slice & Bake is a wildly underestimated culinary novelty). I'm 17 years old. I have a budding obsession with gremolada and hoard artisan chocolates to a degree that some consider extreme. I consider it a healthy and necessary indulgence. I compiled my first cookbook at the age of 9, as a gift to my dad since I was utterly sick of the steak he threw in my direction everyday. Sometimes I am seized by a carnal desire to bake; my life is a whirlwind of cupcakes and ganache. It's always worth having dessert before dinner, in my opinion. And no, I'm not obese, thanks for asking!
